nick_garou | Val thinks there's a powerful warper in the GENOM building.

I was up on the roof of the Maxwell Building today. Wow. They've really made a really nice space up there. Val dropped by to chat. Seems she tried to moonbridge in to the GENOM building and.... bounced. Fell off the bridge. Ended up hundreds of miles away. She thinks there's a mage there, based on the "flavor" of the magic she saw, and that s/he must have a superb grasp of Spirit and Correspondence to have bounced her moonbridge. (Actually, deflecting the moonbridge wouldn't be terribly hard with moderate skill in Spirit and Correspondence, I suspect. Sending Val hundreds of miles away? That's a bit more advanced.) I looked her over for any signs of her having a magickal tracker on her. None. None that I could detect, at least. GENOM is supposedly where some of those energy-sucking fomori fled to earlier. Grand. Might have a Nephandus mage in GENOM. I'm going to lay low a little while longer just to.... okay, mostly to appease Mouse. I think I've shaken the taint and what I think, in hindsight, might have been a lingering dab of Mind-related paradox from the glyph I'd been poking at.
