Umbral holograms and freaking out the natives.
My plan to share information about the glyphs and their time-dependent patterns with a theurge worked. Partly. Val conspired with me in bringing Alicia's unicorn pack off into the umbra where Dakota, their lead theurge (and one of the better ones in the sept), would look at a hologram I created from afar. The rest of the pack was there in case she flipped out or got tainted, and they looked away.
As I was worried might happen, Dakota started to get tainted, flipped out, and made a break for it. She made it all of three seconds before she transformed instantly from human to wolf. (Damn, that was fast.) I killed the holographic projection before it made things worse or infected others to the point where they might not be able to run Dakota down and subdue her.
Yup. I'm glad I figured out a way to show this to Dakota rather than to Mouse. It still sucks that it did what it did to Dakota. I wonder if garou are just hyper-sensitive to this whereas I'm not? Or is that my latent knowledge of Mind magick protecting me?
