Hired: one Shadow Lord kinfolk office manager.
Had a nice meeting at Dark Wine and Roses with Val and May yesterday evening, bringing May up to speed with the basics of how the business works--officially and unofficially. She'll do fine. She's quite capable. My only concern is that she might take the job /too/ seriously and get frustrated with the PIs for not being as efficient as she expects them (including myself) to be. That and.... Shadow Lord. But I'm going to try hard to not judge a book by the cover: maybe she bucks the tribal stereotype. Time will tell.
I had kind of disturbingly amusing thought earlier today. I've had a couple instances where I'd subconsciously performed/leaked magic while I was sleeping in the past year and a half--ever since I touched that Chimera spirit's mind. Are these nocturnal occurrences essentially the mage equivalent of a wet dream? Ha. I'm going to browse the library to see if this kind of thing is common or if I ought to be worried. This instance could very well have just been me accidentally leaking paradox in bed. Ah, the analogies that could be employed.
I think I've finally come to terms with Flint's death. Enough that I think I could venture out and be around garou again. I suspect there's no crying allowed with garou or baseball.
