Harbor Park. Ran into the guy from the other day who'd stood up for Val and mentioned, in passing, that Val was a friend who'd helped him out in the past. Turns out he's garou (unsurprisingly--didn't even need to use magic to figure this out) and Gnawer--but he has a bad history/blood with the Shadow Lords. He certainly /looks/ like a Shadow Lord though. Anyway. Name's Jeremiah Bullfrog. Seems to have some serious anger issues, and Val pretty much confirmed it: he has a habit of smashing cell phones. Avoid on the fuller moon. He seems a little to volatile to have casual conversations with: I'll get his story from Val at some later date.
Charley agreed to tag along to Seattle to help me out in helping Raul and Joey deal with some vampires, though Charley needed a little convincing to do so. I can't blame him: I'd want some assurances if I was in his situation, too. I told him I plan to be using Correspondence to stay out of the direct action myself, so we can probably just work together from my Porsche Cayenne several blocks away from the actual location where the shit will hit the fan. Headed out in an hour. Fingers crossed. Got something set up to send Charley and Ila an e-mail in 10 days if I don't deactivate it. Mouse in 14 days if Charley or Ila doesn't deactivate it, triggering a separate e-mail. Trying to cover the bases in case I don't survive--or if Charley and I both don't survive. :/
