Tuesday night, I was meditating in Harbor Park when Dakota dropped by. We chatted idly. She brought up how she missed her five--FIVE--kids. Three of which were furred. (Ugh. Mind-bleach. Don't think about that, Nick.) I mentioned how I might like a kid one day, but I'm not sure I'd be a suitable parent. (Plus I'd need to, y'know, talk with Emma about that sort of thing.) Val turned up and offered to take me over to the umbra with her and Dakota. I agreed. (I guess she learned that gift that Mouse knows that lets her take kin over.) I mentioned I'd been in the umbra in the park before with Mouse on a few occasions, which meant I didn't need to act all dumbstruck after crossing over. Reed was there along with a big black unicorn spirit, Praeses, the pack totem for Excelsior. It said it knew me. (WTF? But it didn't say I was a mage, so... who knows if it knew or not and just wasn't sharing with its pack. Boy, if that's the case, these garou should proooobably never trust a spirit--even their own pack or potentially tribal spirits. Same goes for me.) I got to pet the unicorn. That was pretty awesome as I rarely mess with larger spirits. Ghost turned up, headed in form the city, but Reed ran her out of the glade. I made a case for her, but.... I really shouldn't push garou to do things, even cliaths. Kargamis, my chimerling spirit, was in the umbra and hung around with me for the most part. I ignored it for the most part, and I don't think anyone paid such a small spirit too much attention.

Wed, Thurs, and Fri I've been spending in my sanctum doing some research. I've sent kargamis out to go chat with other spirits about my multi-dimensional theory where our compacted reality (a positive) might be interacting with another (negative) compacted reality. I also instructed kargamis, if the spirit it was talking to seemed interested, to mention that the theory came from a warper (leave them guessing as to if it was local or not)--and seems to be interested in protecting the caern/region/world from The Nothing. I'm curious as to what spirits think of this theory. Or if spirits even debate theory. What's for sure though is that when I explained my theory to Kargamis (and I had to resort to mental communication for some of these concepts: it's not exactly the brightest of spirits), the little thing seemed to be getting wigged out. Frightened. As if the concept scared the hell out of him.

Meanwhile, I revisited the notes I obtained from Pavel and from Slug (via Val). The content in these two documents is strikingly similar. The handwriting is similar. I Dreamed the Dream of being a person experienced with handwriting analysis, and almost immediately recognized that, yes, these two documents had been written by the same person. I've been spending time in my sanctum working Time and Correspondence magick, trying to trace one or both of the documents back to their points of origin in time and space. I hope, if I'm lucky and can find out when and where they were written, I might be able to use some Mind magick to get a feel for the mental state of the person who wrote them. Putting thoughts to writing is often inadequate. Information and ideas don't connect. We don't think in sentences, so the writing is not the RAW idea. I'd like to figure out what the raw, core, pure idea was. Perhaps there's some insight to be had there. Perhaps there's just madness.
