Spent the fuller moon taking advantage of another extended trip to the spirit world. I spent a lot of time exploring kinetics on a broad scale. Levitating/juggling boulders and redirecting gravity. Yoda was partially right: Size does not matter so long as the object being moved stays within one's area of magickal influence. Which, if you think about it, actually does mean that size matters.
I got back to the material world the other day, went to meditate and recharge at the Harbor Park node, and bumped into Val and Justin. Gave Justin the $1,250 I made selling that set of silverware he gave to me earlier. I cheated a bit with some Entropy when I posted, wrote, and priced the ad so he'd get lucky with the outcome. Ended up getting slightly over double what I thought it was actually worth, but someone saw it and had sentimental attachment I suspect.
After Justin departed, Val finished filling me in on some news: she'd found that Ghost's blood, when charged with gnosis, slowly kills the black ooze while it itself does not disintegrate from the contact/expenditure. I need to get a couple small samples myself as this is something that technically can't exist even for Mages. (To my knowledge, at least.)
With a means of finally potentially dealing with The Nothing, I shared an idea with Val that I'd been sitting on for the past month: I can use Forces fueled by Prime magick to generate paths of supercharged radioactivity, sending the ooze into a feeding frenzy, which I can use to lure it up into the top floors of the Queen's Tower where all those BSDs and uber-creatures are. Let the ooze eat them, then kill the ooze with supercharged Ghost blood. Kill two birds with one stone.
I warned Val that she needs to tell Ghost what's up--and then the rest of the garou--lest someone get upset at her and inadvertently kill her.
I should probably go talk to Jacinta and Mouse, too. I am going to need a buttload of energy to pull of that Forces stunt, and working the magick from a strong node would help greatly. Maybe Aahn can assist? Or at least keep tabs on me and kill me if things go horribly wrong. I haven't played much with radiation beyond microwaves and solar energy. Fun times, fun times.
Belatedly, I also learned that there's a crapload of forest fires blazing in Washington, some near Hanford. If things get slow, I should probably take Briar and Shade and maybe Benedict on a field trip to do some ritual-based fire fighting. It'll be good practice and we'd be helping people out.
