Wards online
Nov. 1st, 2014 06:46 pmLast night I crossed over to the umbra and finalized the ward preparations in the umbra. I started a ritual in the umbra. About halfway through it, I passed into the realm, linking the umbral-side wards and the realm-side wards together. It took several more hours of work, but I managed to wrap things up an hour after dawn.
It held. It worked. It was stable.
Now I've got a kick-ass alarm system that can buy me time to get the eff out of dodge in the event anyone ever comes after me on my own property--realm or umbra.
What I've put together might be a little better than the caern's wards. Smaller, certainly. Different, definitely. Subtler, surely. But better.
Although it does require a fresh influx and backup supply of tass each month. Ugh.
Still! I should celebrate with a trip out to the woods to play at being a cougar.
