Tuesday, April 23--Meeting Elias and Naomi gets nabbed by The Suits
I dropped some novelty ice cream snacks off at the farmhouse today. I think I just want it to be spring so bad that I figure buying stuff normally eaten in the summer will make people believe it's time for winter to end. This is--probably--flawed logic. But it might not be. While there, I ran into a new-to-the-area Silver Fang by the name of Elias. He seemed nice enough, and he was going to let me drive his 74 Chevelle. But LITERALLY right as I was about to get behind the wheel, Val called. Naomi'd been abducted by the Suits. God dammit. I excused myself from driving Elias's car, took mine, headed to town, and then realized as I called Val back up that there was nothing I could do beyond caution Val that if she got caught or even spotted, she'd just make things worse. (She got surly at me for pointing this out. Deal with it, bird.) According to Val, Naomi had already been taken into an isolated, recently renovated building. That smells of trap. Big-time. I infodumped the Walkers, mentioned she knew the tenement's location and that The Suits had reportedly been giving drugs to prisoners during interrogations, and gave credit for the infodump to Val. Then I texted Emma the same info.
Dammit. I worked hard to get Naomi's wolf back, return her to the Walker tribe, and.... Please don't let this all be for naught.
So much for getting some quality time in with Emma, too. Sonofabitch.
