This morning I texted Alicia about meeting up. In hindsight, I texted to early--because I'd been in the umbra all night conducting experiments with Correspondence. But better to bug sooner than later, particularly with information she'd want to know. We met up at the farmhouse. I pitched the plan to her:
  • Silvertip goes in invisible, shadowing a scientist so as to gain access to the lowest level, and I'll make her an all-access key card--just in case.
  • (Secretly, I'll remotely shadow Silvertip to lend her a hand if needed, even if it's just good luck and clouding minds of anyone who gets suspicious.)
  • Silvertip finds a private spot (bathroom?) and summons a water elemental to begin flooding the place.
  • (Secretly, I'll ensure that any sump pumps and/or drains they have fail.)
  • Silvertip exits in the confusion (with some secret overwatch on my part)
  • Theoretically, the employees will look to evacuate their prisoners (or execute them, but I doubt they'll do that as these are the geese that lay the golden eggs), likely using the black abduction vans. Probably the two wolves in one (as they share the same cell together) and the crazy guy in another. With luck, one of those vans will have the GPS tracker on it.
  • Val will keep tabs on where the vans go, feeding the information to the garou working to intercept the vans using registered-to-fake-companies vehicles.
  • Interception. Fight. Hostage rescue.
  • Flee the scene.
Alicia seemed reluctant at first, saying a water spirit wouldn't be able to penetrate the Weaver-thickened umbra. I pointed out that by having water, they've given water elementals a pass--just like electrical elementals. (I should probably do more work with elementals.) She then said she wanted to do a little umbral scouting, so I told her that Mouse had had a vision that these riots would hit Saint Clare in 1-3 weeks, so there was no time to do any scouting in advance--not before DNA pretty much dropped off the radar.

She asked if Silvertip would be leading the attack, and I said no. She's too busy to coordinate an attack. She's just going into the building and acting as a catalyst. I suggested that Alicia be in charge of coordinating the interception teams.

Alicia complained about not being told about the whole 1-3 weeks thing (which was my own fault as I was kind of lying to her and had just told Mouse--and a few others--the day before), so I told her I'd just heard it myself and that it'd be spreading shortly and that was one of the reasons I'd sought out a galliard. (Save? I hope so!) Also (I figured since I was on a roll by now) I told Alicia that Mouse had also had a vision that the attacks would initially be focused on the courthouse area and northwestern Saint Claire, so any garou or kin who live out there ought to consider temporarily visiting friends in different neighborhoods--and be prepared.

There. I think that takes care of everything.

Wait a second.

When the hell did I become some kind of benevolent puppet master?
