I had to think about it, but I decided to continue showing up to do parkour in the park--even if that meant I now had someone I knew was a garou participating with me. Of course, if I'd disappeared, that might have looked a little weird, too. Emma seems none the wiser, though. Let's see about keeping it that way. And, good lord, try not to piss her off. Although, honestly, I think I've actually gotten to the point where I could hold my own against one--or even multiple--Garou... depending on the situation and circumstances. But damn, I hope it never comes to that. Salem says she's one of the "good" garou, though. I dunno. We'll see.
Val and I chatted again last night. She's going to bring me a selection of the new fruit that's growing in WWNP so I can analyze it. I hope no mage (or mages) is behind this, because that'd make me look bad--especially with the timing of only recently getting back into the area. But I'm a little concerned the brambles might be the manifestation of a thaumavore, which could really screw the garou over if they don't deal with it. (And then it might come and screw with things *I* care about.) Also, apparently Val is able to heal people. I did not know this, and will definitely have to remember that bit of information in the event I nearly hack my leg off again. (Sometimes, Nick, you can be a grade-A idiot.)
Also on my to-do list for today: Accidentally discover and report a corpse in an alleyway before the rats eat too much. (Thanks, Val.)
