I decided to focus on the weaker node nearer my Sanctum yesterday, just in case there's an influx of garou and I can't use the Harbor Park node in the near future. It's in good shape, not apparently being used, and I debated marking it with magic like I'd done with the Harbor Park node. But there's no scrying points on this one, so.... let's let it slide. Time to prep some lucky pennies and start harvesting some of this loose tass that's going to waste. My reserves have gotten too damn low.
While meditating at the fountain, I got around to doing some recreational reading and polished off Hauser's "The Evolution of Communication." It's a fascinating read even from a solely mundane perspective. As I was nearing the end of the book, Sera showed up and asked for $5, because Mouse said I was Glass Walker kin earlier, and Mouse had sent her on a mission and she needed $5 to do it. I gave her $30. She said it was too much and offered to "awaken" a bottle of alcohol for me. I bought two bottles of Kraken brand rum. (Fantastic stuff.) One for me and one for Sera. While Sera went off to wake spirits up, I texted Mouse what was up. She seemed to think it was fine so long as I went very easy on the rum.
Who all thinks I'm Glass Walker kin other than Mouse? Sera and Djehuti, I think, Need to get this all straight in my head.
